The process of freeze drying involves extracting most of the moisture leaving behind a drier, slightly crumbly product which retains the original flavour.

This is not actually freeze dried dinosaur poo. We really wanted to introduce you to the world of coprolites which are fossilised poo. Coprolites tell palaeontologists a lot about the animal including their diet which informs researchers on whether the animal was a carnivore or a plant eater.

Did you know there is a museum in Arizona USA which is dedicated to the display and research on coprolites. It is called the Poozeum.
