Ruby Sea Dragon Tote Bag - WA Museum Exclusive
Meet Ruby - who is in fact not a seahorse, but a seadragon - and one of the most unique species available to come and see at the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip.
The Ruby Seadragon was identified and described by the WA Museum's own Marine Biologist, Dr Nerida Wilson using DNA from a specimen found in Esperance in 2007 and linking it to other specimens, including one that washed up on Cottesloe Beach in 1919 and has been residing in our collections ever since - a discovery over 100 years in the making, and the third ever species of seadragon ever recorded in the world!
Take home your very own Ruby Seadragon on this reusable, Australian made, cotton tote bag - Exclusive to the WA Museum.
