Patagotitan was a titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur that lived in the mid-Cretaceous period, approximately 101 million years ago, in what is now South America. Its remains were found in the Argentine province of Chubut, in the centre of Patagonia.
The discovery of the remains was announced in May 2014, and it is still the largest land animal of all time.
According to estimated data, its size would be 38.2 meters in length and 77 tons in weight.
